If you’ve been waiting for the next big thing from Nothing, your wait is almost over. The company has officially confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 is launching on 1st July 2025. The event will be streamed live on their YouTube channel at 10:30 PM IST, and going by their past launches, this one’s likely to be full of surprises too.
Carl Pei and his team have always done things differently, and their phones reflect that same offbeat vibe. The design is bold, the UI is clean, and the whole user experience feels refreshing compared to other brands. Now with the Phone 3, it looks like Nothing is pushing the limits even further both in terms of hardware and software.
Design Still Transparent, But Better
Nothing’s signature transparent back is making a comeback, but there’s a slight twist. The leaked renders suggest some changes in texture and frame build. The edges look more polished, and there’s also a rumour about a tiny dot display on the rear that might show quick info like battery or incoming calls. That’s different.

The glyph interface also seems to be updated. It might now react to things like voice recordings, countdowns, and maybe even custom ringtones. It’s a cool feature that’s slowly becoming more than just a flashy light show.
That Display Will Be Bright Enough for Indian Summers
According to leaks, the Phone 3 will feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED LTPO display. That means the refresh rate can switch between 1Hz to 120Hz depending on your usage. You’ll get smooth scrolling when needed and power-saving when idle — best of both worlds.
Another big upgrade is brightness. The display might peak at 3000 nits, which is insane. Even under direct sunlight, you won’t have to squint to read your WhatsApp messages or check Instagram. It sounds like a small thing, but once you use a bright screen, it’s hard to go back.
Snapdragon Chip Means It’s No Slouch
Performance won’t be a problem here. The phone is expected to pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 — a powerful processor made for smooth gaming, multitasking, and handling those camera-heavy apps.
It’ll also come with Nothing OS 4, based on Android 16, and just like before, you can expect a bloatware-free, clean experience. Plus, Nothing is promising 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches. That’s more than what most phones offer these days.
Camera Setup Looks Flagship-Level
Nothing is not playing it safe this time. Rumour is that the Phone 3 will come with three 50MP cameras main, ultra-wide, and a periscope lens for zoom. And yes, all three are expected to support OIS, so blurry photos might be a thing of the past.
On the front, the selfie camera will be 32MP and will come with autofocus. That alone makes it better than many phones that still skip AF on selfies, even at high prices.
Battery That Will Easily Last the Day
Phone 3 will likely pack a 5000mAh battery, which is standard but effective. Combined with the LTPO screen and clean OS, this phone should give you a full day of use whether it’s Instagram, Netflix, or office work.
Charging will be 50W wired, with wireless charging also expected. It’s not the fastest, but it’s more than enough for daily use.
Expected Price and Where to Buy in India
While the company hasn’t announced the final price yet, early estimates suggest it might launch around ₹68,000 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. That’s premium pricing, no doubt but then, Nothing phones are not just about specs. It’s the whole vibe, clean design, and unique experience you’re paying for.
You’ll most likely be able to grab it on Flipkart, and knowing how launch offers work in India, expect some bank discounts or exchange deals too.
Bonus Leak: Headphones Coming Too?
There’s also some buzz about Nothing launching their first over-ear headphones during the same event. Not much info is available, but if they follow the same design style as the Ear series, these could be worth looking out for.
Should You Wait for Nothing Phone 3?
If you’re tired of phones looking the same and want something that feels different — in design and in the way it works then yes, Nothing Phone 3 might be worth the wait.
It’s not for everyone. If you only care about raw specs, you might find cheaper options. But if you want something that looks cool, works smooth, and doesn’t annoy you with ads or bloatware, this phone could be a solid pick.
